Regenerative Farming
I currently work for Âmevive, a regenerative wine grower based in the Santa Ynez Valley. We are committed to holistic land practices, embracing the native ecology, integrating animals, and walking our vineyard rows with our flock of 30 sheep.
My formal education of the land includes a B.S. in Environmental Science and Food Systems from UCLA, and studies in Permaculture Design and Horticulture. I supported Kiss The Ground’s mission for 5 years as their Farmland Program Director, providing financial, educational and training resources to farmers, ranchers and land stewards.
Over the last 10 years, I have worked on several local farms in Santa Barbara County including White Buffalo Land Trust, Gaviota Givings, and Fairview Gardens. I am an active member of the Biodynamic Association of Northern California, where I regularly attend workshops and seasonal gatherings.
