About

I was raised on an organic avocado ranch on the Gaviota Coast of California. We grew most of our own fruits and vegetables–we had guavas and kiwis over here, and pomegranates, cherimoyas and peaches over there. Each fruit had its season and I knew when it was ripe for the picking.

In my junior year of high school, I started practicing yoga at a small Bikram studio in Santa Barbara. What began as a call to movement and connection, led to a more subtle awakening of heart and spirit. I went on to study Environmental Science and Food Systems at UCLA, and completed my Permaculture Design Certificate through Santa Barbara City College. Shortly after graduating, I pursued my 200-hour yoga teacher training.

When I returned to Santa Barbara in 2016, I began my advanced yoga studies through the Santa Barbara Yoga Center and opened my private yoga practice. Over the last decade I have been teaching both private yoga and community yoga classes at various studios, including Yoga Soup, Sol Seek, SHiFT Studio, The Lab, SB Flow Yoga & Wellness, and Swell.

As a former dancer, fluid transitions and dynamic routines are at the heart of my teaching. But much of my physical and spiritual healing unfolded through my own self-exploration and extensive training in yin, therapeutic, reiki, and integrative somatic trauma therapy. Sometimes the most powerful response is to simply be still. And I have spent what feels like most of my adult life building my capacity for stillness.

For five years I supported Kiss The Ground, an environmental non-profit, providing storytelling, financial, and training resources for farmers, ranchers and land stewards transitioning to regenerative agriculture. My enthusiasm for ecological land management and nutritious food has led me to Âmevive, a holistic wine maker in the Santa Ynez Valley where I shepherd 30 sheep.

My energy is now being poured into birthwork, supporting women through all phases of pregnancy. I am guided by the biodynamic wisdom that every body is a living landscape—shaped by ancestral soil, nourished by breath, memory, spirit, and stars. This theory is applied across my work as a holistic Birth Doula and certified Prenatal and Pelvic Floor Yoga Teacher.

If I’m not wrangling sheep, you'll find me in the mountains, or grazing from my basket at the farmer's market. I cherish quiet moments sipping tea, spilling over a contemplative book; knitting baby beanies made of local wool; and nourishing friends with a potluck feast.
