About

I was raised on an organic avocado ranch along California’s Gaviota Coast, where the rhythms of the land shaped my earliest sense of time and nourishment. Our family grew most of our food—guavas and kiwis over here, and pomegranates, cherimoyas, and peaches over there. I knew when each fruit was in season and ripe for the picking.

I went on to study Environmental Science and Food Systems at UCLA, and Permaculture Design at SBCC. For five years I supported the regenerative agriculture non-profit Kiss The Ground, providing financial, educational and training resources to farmers, ranchers and land stewards. Over the years, I would volunteer on farms here and there hearing that distant call back to the land.

My yoga journey began in high school at a small Bikram studio in Santa Barbara. What began as a call to movement and connection, led to a more subtle awakening of heart and spirit. After completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training, I continued advanced studies at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center. I’ve since built a private yoga practice and teach in community spaces including Yoga Soup, SHiFT Studio, SB Flow Yoga & Wellness, and Santa Barbara Athletic Club.

As a former dancer, fluid transitions and embodied expression are at the heart of my teaching. Yet it was through deeper inquiry—in reiki, somatic trauma therapy, and meditation—that my work has become less about shape, and more about spirit.

At present, I work for Âmevive, a natural wine maker in the Santa Ynez Valley, where I help shepherd the vineyard’s 30 sheep and support holistic land practices. I’m drawn to the rhythms of Biodynamic Agriculture and am an active member of the Biodynamic Association of Northern California, where I regularly attend workshops and seasonal gatherings.

Beyond the farm and the yoga mat, I hold space for the sacred rhythms that guide women through brith as a doula. I am currently studying to become a midwife, guided by the principles of biodynamics and the belief that each body is a living constellation of memory, spirit, and stars.

On warm, sun-kissed days you might find me in a mountain creek, grazing from my basket at the farmer's market, or sharing a nourishing meal with friends.
